Surabaya, June 8, 2026 - Avian Brands made another achievement at the domestic level, becoming the only company in Indonesia’s paint and coatings industry to be honored for outstanding performance in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, at the Top CSR Awards 2026 held at Hotel Raffles Jakarta on May 25, 2026.
The honor was presented in recognition of the successful implementation of the PERMATA Wadungasih (Community Empowerment Around Wadungasih), a community empowerment program developed in a structured, measurable, and sustainable manner for the communities surrounding the company, particularly those in the company’s Ring 1 area in the Wadungasih region. The program reflects the Company’s commitment to implementing sustainability principles that are integrated into corporate governance.
In its execution, the PERMATA Wadungasih program has been guided by the international ISO 26000 standard across various stages, from planning and implementation to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Beyond its focus on social activities, Avian Brands also measures its impact using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) approach to ensure that every program delivers tangible, measurable, and sustainable social benefits to the surrounding community.
The success of the program is further underpinned by the strengthening of corporate internal governance, through the formulation of systematic standard operating procedures, an integrated program monitoring mechanism, and an organized reporting process that extends to Board of Directors level. This approach is a key factor that sets Avian Brands’ CSR implementation apart from that of other companies in the same industry.
In recognition of his leadership and commitment in advancing the Company’s sustainability agenda and CSR governance, Avian Brands’ Director of Operations and Development, Mr. Robert Christian Tanoko, was also presented with the Top CSR Director 2026 award.
In his remarks, Mr. Robert Christian Tanoko stated how sustainability goes beyond just a supplementary corporate program; it has become an integral part of the company’s long-term business strategy.
“For Avian Brands, sustainability is more than just social contribution; it’s about how the Company can grow alongside the community through good governance, measurable programs, and tangible, sustainable impacts. This award motivates us to continue strengthening our sustainability commitment across all aspects of the Company’s business,” said Robert Christian Tanoko.
This achievement further solidifies Avian Brands’ position as a company that not only focuses on business growth, but also consistently generates positive impacts on society and sustainability though strong governance and outstanding CSR programs.
