Surabaya, 18 November 2022 – PT Avia Avian Tbk. (“AVIA”) announced that it would distribute an interim cash dividend totaling Rp 10 per share or an aggregate amount equivalent to Rp 619 Billion. The Board of Directors, with the approval of the Board of Commissioners, set the decision to distribute interim cash dividends to AVIA shareholders registered on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. This interim dividend distribution decision is in line with AVIA's solid financial and operational fundamentals based on the financial statements for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2022, where up to the Q3 2022 period, AVIA recorded a net profit of Rp 1.08 Trillion, and as of September 30, 2022, AVIA had a strong capital level with total equity of Rp 9.69 Trillion and a very strong liquidity ratio of 869%.
Amidst challenging economic conditions, AVIA managed to record total revenue for the nine-month period (year-to-date) reaching Rp 4.9 Trillion with strong gross profit and EBITDA margins, at 40.0% and 25.8% respectively. This positive performance is supported by product innovation and continuous distribution channel development carried out by AVIA.
This year's interim cash dividend distribution undoubtedly reflects AVIA's commitment to continuously provide sustainable added value to AVIA shareholders. This interim cash dividend distribution is also in line with AVIA's dividend policy to provide a Dividend Payout Ratio of at least 50% of AVIA's net profit, while considering various factors, including working capital needs and business development, as well as AVIA's future business growth projections. The interim dividend distribution will be carried out according to the following schedule.
