Surabaya, December 8, 2025. As a manifestation of its environmental and social concern, Avian Brands, the leading paint manufacturer in Indonesia, donated 900 kg of paint for the painting work on the roof of Kalabahi Correctional Facility in Alor. The facility is a Class IIB Correctional Institution located in Kalabahi, Alor, Nusa Tenggara Timur, which serves as a place of rehabilitation and security for inmates. Refurbishment work was conducted on the roof of Kalabahi Correctional Facility in Alor, which had become discolored, leaky, and corroded over time.
More than a mere token of support, Avian Brands provided the finest products tailored to the building's coastal location. To create a cooler environment, Avian Brands provided the No Drop Anti Panas, a tested and proven waterproof coating that protects against leakage while reducing indoor temperatures by up to 7 degrees Celsius.
In addition to No Drop Anti Panas, Avian Brands also provided the Yoko Cat Genteng dan Seng, in the blue variant. The painting process was carried out directly by the facility’s management team. The head of Kalabahi Correctional Facility, Mr. Yono, emphasized the importance of this facility's refurbishment in creating a cooler, leak-proof, and comfortable environment. Not only does this new color improve the look of the building, but it is also expected to improve the mood and comfort of the inmates. “Based on the application results in the field, the paint provides even coating and long-lasting, vibrant colors. It also dries quickly and makes the room cooler”, he said.
