Natural disasters have once again struck the homeland, specifically in West Sumatra Province, which was hit by flash floods caused by high rainfall affecting several areas. This incident claimed many victims, both in terms of lives lost and homes displaced, a situation that is deeply concerning and calls for our collective attention.
Referring to the situation in West Sumatra, in an effort to assist communities affected by the flash floods, Avian Brands Peduli participated in a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities aimed at providing direct assistance to disaster victims at two command post locations.
Avian Brands recognizes that basic needs such as food and drink are a top priority for communities affected by disasters. Therefore, the company distributed basic necessities to two main command posts in the affected areas. This aid includes various essential items such as rice, instant noodles, mineral water, eggs, and other necessities that are crucial for people to survive and get through these difficult times.
On the other hand, as a form of concern for the environment, specifically places of worship, namely Al-Ikhlas Mosque and Annur Kaisak Musalla, which were also affected by the flash floods, Avian Brands Peduli provided paint assistance to repair and beautify these two places of worship that suffered damage due to the disaster. This paint assistance was provided in the form of a total of 10 pails of Avitex Gold Wall Paint, which is a multi-functional paint for exterior and interior use, with 5 pails of Avitex Gold Wall Paint given to each place of worship.
This activity is part of Avian Brands' commitment to always be present and caring towards the community's condition, especially in disaster situations. Through this CSR program, Avian Brands not only provides material assistance but also demonstrates empathy and solidarity with communities in need. It is hoped that this assistance will provide tangible benefits and help accelerate the recovery of the affected areas.
