The Petik Laut activity organized by Avian Brands Peduli is now present in Sukabumi, West Java. On May 18, 2023, Avian Brands Peduli painted 100 fishing boats belonging to the residents of Pelabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi.
In this Petik Laut activity, Avian Brands Peduli distributed aid in the form of 680 kg of Avian Wood and Iron Paint and 75 Avian Thinner B Original. This assistance was received directly by local community representatives who also collaborated as volunteers to paint the boats.
“Thank you Avian Brands for the CSR activity held in Pelabuhan Ratu today. We, the fishermen, are happy that the boats have been repainted and look new again,” said a fisherman resident.
Pelabuhan Ratu in Sukabumi is an area famous for its coastal tourist attractions. Many residents around the Pelabuhan Ratu area work as fishermen. This region also celebrates National Fisherman's Day every year.
Avian Brands Peduli realizes the important role of the fishing community for Indonesia, which largely consists of aquatic regions. Therefore, the Petik Laut activity or painting of fishing boats is one of Avian Brands' CSR program priorities.
In addition to painting fishing boats belonging to communities in various regions of Indonesia, Avian Brands Peduli also distributes paint aid for education, environmental, and disaster response pillars.
