Avian Brands Peduli once again brought color to a tourist attraction called Embung Patemon. Embung Patemon itself is a rainwater catchment area located in Kampung Sriging, Semarang City, Central Java. In this event, Embung Patemon held a mural festival which took place from January 21 - January 23, 2022.
The event, which aimed to enhance the tourism potential in the area, was directly opened by the Head of Patemon Village, Muhamad Khosim. The competition lasted for 3 days, with the announcement of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners taking place on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Through this program titled “Colorful Tourism Destination Embung Patemon - Semarang”, Avian Brands Peduli contributed Exterior Wall Paint used for the exterior wall mural process. Avian Brands' support and participation in the mural festival at Embung Patemon is a form of the Company's concern for tourism in the Patemon area, Semarang.
The mural festival presented a competition involving participants from Patemon and its surrounding areas. Previously, the community and committee applied a primer coat to the areas that would serve as the creative medium for the contestants, using exterior paint from Avian Brands. Then, the participants carried out the wall mural process using exterior wall paint from Avian Brands, especially around the tourist area during the competition.
The mural artworks produced by the contestants presented a variety of unique themes that align with the atmosphere of life in Patemon Village and Central Java in general.
The use of Avian Brands paint in the mural process received many positive impressions from the participants. “Avian paint dries quickly, has many color options, and is very suitable for both exterior and interior,” said a participant.
“The paint quality is excellent and very easy to apply to various surfaces, especially exterior walls,” said another participant after completing their mural.
“Hopefully, with the implementation of this mural festival sponsored by Avian Brands, it can enrich the tourism offerings at Embung Patemon, attract more visitors, and be enjoyed by the residents of Patemon Village and other tourists,” said Muhamad Khosim in his statement.
The Company's contribution through Avian Brands Peduli in the mural festival at Embung Patemon is a form of concern for the advancement of one of Indonesia's unique tourist attractions. It is hoped that the works presented by the mural artists will be able to enhance the tourist appeal of Embung Patemon and have a positive impact on the surrounding community.
