Avian Brands Peduli carried out a painting activity for 100 fishing boats in Grajagan Beach Village, Purwoharjo, Banyuwangi on August 7, 2023. This activity, which coincided with the Petik Laut thanksgiving event, was positively welcomed by the fishing community and local volunteers.
The amount of paint assistance provided was 502 kg of Avian Wood and Iron Paint and 66 Avian Original Thinner B. All assistance was distributed directly by Avian Brands representatives to the fishing community group for the Petik Laut activity in Banyuwangi.
“Our hope, as Grajagan fishermen and the Petik Laut 2023 organizing committee, is that Avian Brands can support more in the future compared to this year and previous years,” said Faisol Hermansyah, treasurer of the Grajagan Village fishermen.
The Petik Laut event is regularly held by fishing communities throughout Java Island, including in Grajagan Village. Its purpose is to show gratitude to God Almighty for the blessings provided through the sea. The fishing boat painting activity is a form of Avian Brands' contribution to the social and economic aspects of coastal areas, especially the fishing community.
