Suak Parak Mangrove Park is a mangrove park located in the heart of Tanjung Pandan City, Belitung, full of natural tourism potential. To maximize this potential, the park management, together with the surrounding community, independently developed the mangrove park area into an integrated tourist destination.
Seeing the high enthusiasm of the residents, the Deputy Regent of Belitung, Mr. Isyak Meirobie, warmly welcomed this creative idea and gave full support to the park management to make Suak Parak Mangrove one of the natural tourist destinations. This destination is certainly one of the destinations that supports Bangka Belitung as one of the UNESCO Global Geopark areas in Indonesia. “We would like to thank Avian Brands for their concern and concrete actions in helping to transform a previously unproductive place into a place that will soon be very productive. Innovation, creativity, and ideas from the community will not lead to high productivity if not supported by Avian Brands, especially at Suak Parak Mangrove”, said Mr. Isyak Meirobie. “And Suak Parak will become the icon of an urban mangrove park, and Avian Brands has become a pioneer for all of us. The development of the tourist area began with building a track or bridge made from used boat planks as a path to explore the natural beauty of this mangrove forest. “The bridge's foundation was built using gelam wood, which is known to be very strong in water. The construction of this track does not disturb the growth of mangrove plants; no cutting or logging was done at all” said Herman, Chairman of the Mangrove Forest Management. As a form of concern and support for Indonesian tourism, Avian Brands added a touch of new vibrant colors to the bridge and various other areas at Suak Parak Mangrove with quality paint products.
