As a realization of its commitment to improve the welfare of fishing communities, Avian Brands Peduli once again held its Petik Laut activity, or the repainting of fishing boats. This time, the activity held in Paljaya, Segara Village, Bekasi, successfully made 300 fishing boats and the 'love bridge' look new again.
The fishing boat repainting activity was held on January 29, 2023, as part of the Enam Muara Fishermen's Thanksgiving event in Bekasi. The aid provided by Avian Brands included 2,500 kg of Avian Wood and Iron Paint and 300 liters of Avian Original Thinner B.
“On behalf of the fishermen, I extend my sincere gratitude to Avian Brands for assisting with the paint distribution so that our dull boats can become colorful again. Avian Brands paint has brighter colors and adheres better compared to other paint products,” stated Riyanto, a fisherman.
Representing the residents, Neighborhood Head Markodi also expressed his appreciation to Avian Brands, “Thank you, Avian Brands, for making our village and our boats more colorful. May your assistance be beneficial for all our residents, especially the fishermen.”
Petik Laut is the name given to the fishing boat repainting activity by Avian Brands Peduli's CSR program. Previously, fishing boat repainting activities have been carried out in various regions, including Belitung, Tangerang, Tuban, Padang, and Palembang. The hope is that this activity can continue and expand its reach throughout all Indonesian archipelagic regions.
