Surabaya, 30 May 2024 – PT Avia Avian Tbk (Stock code: AVIA) was the sole resource person from the private sector at the Business and/or Manufacturing Activity Supervision Development event held by the East Java Province Environmental Agency (DLH). The event took place at the Regional Coordination Agency for Government and Development II of East Java Province, located in Malang City, on May 22, 2024.
PT Avia Avian Tbk, represented by Mr. Eko Hajar Prakoeswo as Quality Assurance & Sustainability Manager, presented material on environmental management implemented by the company, including energy emission and waste management. The event, aimed at improving compliance with environmental management for business and/or manufacturing activity stakeholders in East Java, was attended not only by government officials but also by companies from Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Malang, and Batu areas. High-ranking officials from the East Java Province Environmental Agency present included the Head of Agency, Head of Environmental Supervision and Law Enforcement Division, and Head of Waste and Hazardous and Toxic Waste Management Division, along with other high-ranking officials.
The invitation to be a presenter at this event is an honor and a source of pride for PT Avia Avian Tbk, demonstrating recognition from the government for the company's success in environmental management.
