Surabaya, March 15, 2025 – PT Avia Avian Tbk (“AVIA” or “Avian Brands”), the market leader in decorative paints in Indonesia, on March 13, 2025, made a strategic investment of Rp 275.8 Billion through a new share subscription of 16.67% in PT Dextone Lemindo, the producer of "Dextone" glue, which is a leading brand with the most complete product portfolio in Indonesia.
PT Dextone Lemindo, which started as a family business, has been operating and experienced for more than 30 years in the adhesive industry and has now grown and transformed into one of the leading market leaders with a good reputation in the adhesive/glue industry in Indonesia with a variety of high-quality products trusted by consumers throughout Indonesia. Currently, PT Dextone Lemindo also has the most complete product portfolio in Indonesia, covering various types of adhesives in the construction, automotive, household, marine, engineering, and other industries.
This strategic investment is believed to create synergies that can contribute substantial operational performance growth for Avian Brands and Dextone, where through this strategic investment, Avian Brands is in a strategic position to distribute Dextone products, and through the strength of its 125 self-owned distribution center networks and 15 mini distribution centers spread from Sabang to Merauke, serving over 58,000 retail stores.
The strategic investment in PT Dextone Lemindo is part of Avian Brands' growth strategy and a manifestation of Avian Brands' commitment to continue growing, both organically and non-organically (through strategic partnerships), in order to strengthen the Company's position as the national decorative paint market leader and to strengthen its business ecosystem, thereby expected to further increase the company's value for all stakeholders and shareholders.
