Sidoarjo, 09 September 2024 – PT Avia Avian Tbk continues its commitment to community empowerment in Wadungasih Village by introducing a series of new, innovative initiatives. This latest program is a development of community empowerment activities that were carried out last year with the theme “Community Empowerment for the Utilization of Economically Valuable Waste.”

This year, PT Avia Avian Tbk made a significant expansion to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by launching a number of new innovations. One of the main initiatives is the development of catfish-based products, by processing catfish into items such as nuggets, shredded floss, and dragon's feet. This initiative is expected not only to increase the added value of catfish products but also to provide additional income opportunities for the local community through the development of catfish processing.

In addition, the company also introduced innovative ways of processing moringa leaves. Moringa leaves, known for their health benefits, are now processed into various products such as crackers, sticks, ice cream, and pudding. This innovation not only enriches the choice of local products available in the market but also offers additional health benefits for consumers, given the high nutritional content in moringa leaves.

PT Avia Avian Tbk also carried out revitalization of various activities that started last year. This year's program involves the revitalization of waste bank facilities and infrastructure, waste processing training, provision of sorted waste bins, addition of catfish farming media, and improvement of urban farming. These initiatives aim to strengthen the positive impact of previous activities and optimize waste management and community skill enhancement.

The residents of Wadungasih Village enthusiastically welcomed these new programs. They expressed gratitude for the support of PT Avia Avian Tbk, which not only enriched their skills but also increased family income. "This program has been very helpful to us. We are happy to learn new things and have opportunities to improve our family's economy," said one resident.

With various new initiatives and the development of existing programs, PT Avia Avian Tbk continues to be committed to providing sustainable benefits for the community of Wadungasih Village. The company hopes this CSR program will continue to grow and have a wider positive impact in the future.
