JAKARTA, May 15, 2023 – PT Avia Avian Tbk. (“Avian Brands”), a leading paint manufacturer, is committed to improving living standards by building businesses that have a positive impact on society now and in the future through Avian Brands Peduli, one of the company's corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) programs towards the environment, education, and disaster response.
Avian Brands Peduli is repainting PMI buildings in Jabodetabek as a form of social responsibility for social activities towards the environment and surrounding communities. With the hope that in 2023, Avian Brands Peduli can contribute to 9 PMI locations. To date, Avian Brands Peduli has carried out painting at 4 PMI locations in South Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi Regency, and Bekasi City.
A total of 1,025 kg of exterior paint, 1,380 kg of interior paint, and 75 kg of wood and iron paint were used in the painting process. Several types of paint used include No Odor Medicare anti-bacterial wall paint which is specially applied in laboratory rooms to make the rooms more hygienic and healthy. In addition, Avitex Interior Wall Paint, Avitex Exterior Wall Paint, and Avian Wood and Iron Paint were also used. The painting services were carried out by a subsidiary of Avian Brands, namely Home Care (Practical Painting Solutions).
The Kick-off of the Avian Brands Peduli CSR activity was held to coincide with the 77th Anniversary of PMI. With the ongoing CSR activity, we hope that Avian Brands can continue to spread goodness and provide a positive impact on the environment and Indonesian society. The painting process stages are carried out periodically. Furthermore, repainting will be carried out at 5 locations, namely PMI Hospital Bogor, PMI Central Headquarters South Jakarta, PMI Central Blood Donor Unit Jagakarsa, Wisma PMI Kebayoran Baru, and Pusdiklat Jatinangor.
