The fishing community of Pantai Batu Kalang in Nagari Ampang Pulai, Padang became the destination for the Avian Brands Peduli program, which was held on December 8, 2022. In this Petik Laut-themed activity, Avian Brands Peduli, together with PT Tirtakencana Tatawarna as the official distributor of Avian Brands, provided assistance in the form of 300 kg of wood and iron paint and 45 bottles of thinner.
The colorful paints from Avian Brands were used to beautify the fishing boats of Pantai Batu Kalang in Nagari Ampang Pulai, Padang. “Avian Brands products, which are quick-drying, have good coverage, and are glossy, are very suitable for application on our residents' fishing boats,” said Efridinal, the Head of Nagari Ampang Pulai.
“On behalf of the fishing community around Pantai Batu Kalang, I would like to thank Avian Brands for the assistance of wood and iron paint and thinner for the boats here,” said Inal, Chairman of the Pantai Batu Kalang Fishermen's Association.
Pantai Batu Kalang is one of the popular tourist destinations in the South Pesisir region, West Sumatra. The charm of this beach lies in its distinctive coastal natural beauty with large rocks adorning its ends. The repainting of fishing boats by Avian Brands Peduli is expected to add to the tourism appeal of Pantai Batu Kalang.
