Avian Brands Peduli visited the Petik Laut Tasyakuran Nelayan (Fishermen's Thanksgiving Sea Harvest) event in Karangagung Village, Tuban. This time, Avian Brands contributed to the rejuvenation of 400 fishing boats, consisting of 320 large boats and 80 small boats. The assistance provided was in the form of 2,000 kg of wood and iron paint and 273 liters of thinner. Petik Laut is an event organized by Karangagung Village, Tuban as a form of expressing gratitude for the marine catches over the past year.
As an embodiment of solidarity, all residents collectively participated in enlivening this thanksgiving event. The Petik Laut program is able to mobilize the community to participate in environmental protection, especially in coastal areas. Avian Brands' contribution is expected to enhance the tourism potential of Karangagung Village.
“As the Head of the Fishermen's Association of Karangagung Village, representing all residents of this village, I am delighted with the contribution given by Avian Brands to our village event,” said Hartono, Chairman of the Karangagung Petik Laut Committee.
Tuban Regent, Aditya Halindra Faridzky, who also attended the Petik Laut event and received assistance for the rejuvenation of fishing boats from Avian Brands, expressed similar sentiments, “I highly appreciate today's activities and would like to thank Avian Brands for its participation.
