Commemorating Youth Pledge Day on October 28, 2023, Avian Brands Peduli also participated in CSR activities with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, namely the construction of residential houses and Early Childhood Education (PAUD) facilities. In this activity, which was carried out simultaneously in 4 locations: Mauk, Yogyakarta, Gresik, and Batam, Avian Brands donated assistance in the form of wall paint as well as wood and iron paint to coat the house and PAUD buildings.
The total paint assistance provided by Avian Brands was 291 gallons of Avitex Gold Wall Paint, 345 cans of Avian Cling Synthetic, and 55 original Avian Thinner B. The 28UILD activity is an annual Habitat for Humanity event that this year involved 529 volunteers spread across 4 locations to build and paint 75 houses, 14 schools including PAUD, and 5 public facilities.
“This is my first experience participating as a volunteer in the 28UILD activity. I am happy to be able to help build homes that are livable for the people of Mauk,” said a volunteer via their Instagram account.
Not only did it provide a positive experience for the participating volunteers, but the 28UILD activity also brought significant benefits to the communities receiving assistance. “I am a fisherman who does not have a fixed income. Previously, I never imagined being able to build a decent home for my family. For that, I am very grateful to the volunteers and aid providers who built my house,” said Didik, a resident.
The involvement of Avian Brands Peduli in the 28UILD activity is one of the manifestations of the Company's vision, which is to improve the standard of living of the Indonesian people. The assistance channeled by Avian Brands Peduli targets contributions to the environment, education, and disaster response actions.
