(Avian Brands) continues to strengthen the implementation of Good Corporate Governance by committing to conducting business activities professionally, independently, transparently, and with integrity. This commitment is reflected, among other things, in the Statement on Neutrality and Political Involvement, which affirms Avian Brands’ position not to provide support or funding for, or engage in, practical political activities, either directly or indirectly.
Safeguarding Corporate Independence from Political Interests
Through the Statement on Political Neutrality and Engagement, Avian Brands expressly states that it does not take sides with any political party, political organization, legislative candidate, regional head candidate, presidential or vice-presidential candidate, or any other party involved in practical politics.
This commitment also includes the prohibition of the use of Company funds, assets, facilities, vehicles, equipment, information systems, name, logo, trademarks, or any other Company resources for political purposes.
Furthermore, individuals acting for or on behalf of the Company are prohibited from using their positions or authority within Avian Brands to influence political decisions or obtain political advantages for any particular party.
This principle applies to the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, all employees, outsourced personnel, and other parties working for or on behalf of the Company. Avian Brands also expects suppliers, contractors, distributors, agents, and business partners to respect political neutrality.
Maintaining Professional and Transparent Relations with the Government
As a company conducting business activities in Indonesia, Avian Brands continues to maintain professional and transparent relationships and communication with the government and policymakers. These interactions support compliance with applicable laws and regulations, industry development, innovation, and sustainability, and are not intended to support any particular political interest.
Respecting the Political Rights of Every Individual
At the same time, Avian Brands continues to respect the rights of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and all employees to exercise their political rights as citizens.
Personal political activities must be conducted without using Avian Brands’ funds, facilities, assets, information, or identity and must not create conflicts of interest within the Company. Each individual is also responsible for ensuring that their personal political activities do not create the perception that such activities are supported by or represent the official position of Avian Brands.
Strengthening Oversight and Reporting Mechanisms
Avian Brands encourages all parties to report any suspected violations of the principles of political neutrality and engagement through the reporting mechanism or Whistleblowing System. Each report will be handled objectively, independently, and professionally, while maintaining the whistleblower’s confidentiality and applying the principle of non-retaliation to protect whistleblowers from retaliation.
