Jakarta, September 22, 2026 — PT Avia Avian Tbk (Avian Brands) has once again achieved recognition in the field of sustainability by securing First Place in the ESG and Governance Categories for the Chemical and Packaging Industry sector at the Katadata SAFE (Sustainability Action for the Future Economy) Awards.
Katadata SAFE is a strategic platform that brings together the government, private sector, and civil society to advance sustainable economic development in Indonesia through dialogue, collaboration, and innovation. Organized by Katadata since 2020, SAFE features a range of high-level forums, workshops, exhibitions, and various activities that bring together sustainability issues with creativity and the arts.
The awards Avian received represent recognition of the Company’s increasingly robust implementation of sustainability principles and corporate governance. The assessment incorporates several sustainability parameters, including the Company’s performance based on assessments conducted by international ESG rating agencies.
One key indicator is Sustainalytics, a global ESG risk rating agency. For the first time since its establishment, Avian recorded an ESG Risk Rating of 15.9, placing the Company in the Low Risk category. Based on Sustainalytics data, this achievement also positions Avian as the company with the best score in Indonesia among competitors in its category.
Sustainalytics assesses various aspects of ESG risks related to a company’s operations, including governance, environmental, and social aspects. This achievement reflects the Company’s efforts to build a sustainability system that is more closely integrated with its business strategy and corporate governance.
Sustainability Manager of PT Avia Avian Tbk, Dodik Moerdijanto, who attended the event, expressed his appreciation to the Company’s management for its strong commitment to the sustainability agenda.
